Technical Instructor - Aircraft
Airbus Australia Pacific is currently seeking a suitably qualified Aircraft Instructor to join our MRH90 Technician Training team at Oakey. The role will require the incumbent to deliver MRH90 Aircraft instruction to trainees at the Rotary Wing Aircraft Maintenance School (RAMS) and includes delivery of academic instruction and On-Job-Training (OJT). Whilst daily tasking is under the direction of the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA) MRH90 Senior Instructor (SI), reporting for administrative and personnel matters is via the Airbus MRH90 Senior Technical Instructor (STI).
The primary responsibilities include:
- Delivery of MRH90 Aircraft Technician training in both an academic instructional and/or an OJT coaching role on the MRH90 platform.
- Conduct of course administration duties.
- Maintenance of course materials and providing SME support to training development.
To be considered for the role you will require a current TAE40110 or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, qualifications obtained as detailed within Defence ATI1-2/17 and 1-3/17, or a contemporary equivalent in accordance with national instructor and assessor guidelines. You will also require a Cert IV in Aeroskills Mechanical, have a working knowledge of the Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL) with a focus on training delivery and have a working knowledge of CAMM2. Qualification as a trade supervisor on MRH90 and knowledge of the Defence Aviation Safety Regulations is desirable.
Applicants must be eligible for an Australian Government Security Clearance and have the capacity to satisfy pre-employment medical screening which may include drug and alcohol testing.
